It's a new year and finally we're heading into spring, so what's new in my world, the completion of Cursed Awakening. There is a sneak preview on the Midnight Hour. I am very happy to say that it is nearly complete and will be ready for submission! Cursed Awakening for those of you who don't know is the story of Ivy Morgan who for years lived under the cruely of a religeous cult called Shepherds of the Flock. Ivy's character was the result of stories I had read about young women who had fled simular cults and I wanted to showcase their strength through Ivy. The last thing Ivy is looking for is another cage or romance. Lorna, her best friend and a former runaway from a simular cult, is helping Ivy to start a new life that includes school and learning how to adjust to the modern world. On a chance encounter, she meets a young Native American man by the name of Nyx. Her attraction to Nyx is instant as his is towards her. Does Ivy act on her attraction? Is it even possible? Just like her, Nyx has many secrets and Ivy will be thrust into a world she never knew exisisted, and not only does danger lurk from her own past, something evil is lurking in the shadows ready to take not only her but Nyx as well down.
Next on the agenda is my first Highlander Fantasy novel. Iain Maclean has always been known as a fair man. He's a warrior unsurpassed by anyone, and has many times been a negoitator in Clan disputes. When he rescues and falls in love with a young woman, Corrine from being executed for being a witch, his life seems to have come together, but it's not meant to last! Evil Shadow demons come for The Relic. Iain is ready to do battle to protect his lands and people and it's not until Corinne rushes to the battlefield that it is discovered that the shadow demons have come for her! A Celtic War Goddess whisks Corrine through time and Iain must go through time to find his beloved. When he finds her in modern times, he not only discovers she can't remember the life and love they once shared but that the shadow demons have come for Corinne as well. It's a race against time to not only get Corinne to remember but to protect her and all the powers above and below are at war!

As promised, Cursed Awakening is not only finished but has it's first book trailer put up on youtube.com. Cursed Awakening is about a young woman named Ivy, who after a lifetime of horrors with a religious cult is finally free to live life on her own terms. Nyx Wahpeton is a protector of the local Reservation which his family has protected for decades. He's been all about work and his people until he meets Ivy. Together they forge more than just a friendship; but a love. In Nyx's world, it's forbidden to find a mate outside of his own people but he's not giving Ivy up.
